Meet Norman! 🐾

Norman is a 6-year-old neutered male cat looking for a patient and understanding home. He came to us from a hoarding situation and is still very overwhelmed by everything around him. ❤️

Norman spends a lot of his time hiding under his bed or tucked beneath a blanket, where he feels safest. He's very growly and understandably scared, but here's the important part — even when he's growling, he doesn't try to hurt anyone when they gently pet him. He's just a very frightened guy who needs time to feel safe.

He's been next to another cat without causing a fuss, so we think he could potentially do well with a feline friend. We're unsure how he'd do with dogs and would need to test him. Because he's so easily overwhelmed right now, a home with teenage-aged or older children would likely be the best fit.

Norman may need some time before he's ready to show his true personality, but he's worth the patience. He's looking for someone who will give him a safe space, respect his boundaries, and let him learn that life can be good. 🐾
