Opal - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

Hi I’m Opal. Pleased to meet you! My estimated birthday is 4/10/26 and I am in a foster home in Towamencin by Fishers Park. I was rescued when I was only a couple weeks old from a colony of feral kitties with my siblings and my mommy. After my siblings and I were weaned from our mommy she got the R part of TNVR and went back home to the community where she’s happy because she doesn’t like humans. But I do! I love humans! I especially love humans when they have treats for me and when they pet and play with me! I love to play with my siblings and foster siblings too. There’s even 2 medium sized gently dogs in my foster home that I like. I like all the things that kittens like-play, eat, play some more, get pets and give purr purrs in return, sleep, and repeat!

My foster mom says I’m the most independent and curious of our litter. She also says there seems to be a lot of people who only want to adopt one kitten and that could be me because even though I like playing with my siblings, I’m often just doing my own thing playing on my own without my siblings. As long as my adopter understands they still need to interact and play with me so I do not get ‘singleton syndrome’ I can be adopted as a singleton.

I eat 4x/day. I get canned food twice a day which is Wellness and Weruva and crunchies twice a day which is chicken soup for the soul. I get some lysine powder in my canned food twice a day to help boost my immune system. I use pine pellets in my kitty toilet.
