Maddie was born around 10/10/2020 and has been spending her recent days in a foster home near Collegeville PetSmart.
After losing the person she loved most, Maddie Mae is hoping to find another special bond. As a tiny bottle baby, she was hand-raised in our care before finding her first home. Years later, she was returned when the busy household, with children, dogs, and constant activity, proved overwhelming for her. After some time back in foster care, she met her special person, and the two were a match made in heaven. For the past three years, Maddie Mae was a devoted companion, bringing comfort every day.
When her adopter was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the family worked closely with Stray Cat Blues to ensure Maddie could stay with him for as long as possible. She remained faithfully by his side until the very end. She returned to her foster home and is now hoping to find the next person she'll love just as deeply.
Maddie Mae is a young feline with a personality as unique as her beautiful swirl pattern. She's sweet, independent, gentle, and smart, all rolled into one fur-ball of joy. Maddie is aggressively affectionate, she likes to hug close and tight to her human’s chest while her gentle purrs and headbutts express her love. Because she's happiest in a calm environment, Maddie Mae would like to be the only pet in the home, where she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves.
