Mira SP - Russian Blue Cat for Adoption

MEET MIRA: TINY HIGHWAY SURVIVOR, PROFESSIONAL PURR MACHINE & FEARLESS ADVENTURER

Mira was just born around the end of May, but she already has a survival story that most cats couldn’t top in nine lives.

This tiny girl was found on the side of I-696 during morning rush hour after somehow managing to CROSS FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC and live to tell the tale.
We’re pretty sure Mira used up at least three of her nine lives that morning.

When she first arrived at the rescue, there were concerns that she might have an eye or neurological problem. Thankfully, she was thoroughly checked out by a specialist and everything was fine! Her beautiful eyes now look completely normal.

And apparently Mira decided that one terrifying morning was enough drama for a lifetime, because she has turned into the sweetest, happiest, most affectionate little kitten.

-Champion snuggler
-Loud, enthusiastic purrer
-Professional toy hunter
-LOVES playing with other cats
-Perfectly capable of entertaining herself when her friends need a break
-Fearless, curious and full of personality

Mira would be happiest in a home with another younger, playful cat (or cats!) who can help her burn off some of that kitten energy. A home without young children would be the best fit for her.

Have a dog too - that is ok! Considering this is a kitten who looked at four lanes of I-696 traffic and apparently thought, “Yeah, I can do this,” we suspect a respectful, cat-friendly dog probably wouldn't intimidate her.

She survived the highway.
Now she just needs to find her way home.
