Tomato - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in North Saint Paul, Minnesota

Meet Tomato! This handsome 5-month-old orange tabby boy is a fun-loving sweetheart once he settles in. Though he takes a moment to adjust to a new environment, Tomato becomes remarkably outgoing and playful as soon as he feels comfortable, and he even formed a special bond with the large dog in his foster home! Tomato has been exposed to dogs, children, and new adults. Because he needs a little time to settle in before showing off his full outgoing personality, any children in his forever home should be age 5 or older so they can give him space while he gets acquainted. Tomato can be an only pet, provided someone is home for the majority of the day to keep him company and help him settle in. If household members are away during regular working or school hours, he must have another friendly, social pet in the home to interact with--and he would be thrilled to have a dog buddy! We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs! Bringing Tomato home with a littermate gives him a familiar friend to boost his confidence in a new space, provides an outlet for all his play energy, and offers essential mental and social enrichment as he grows. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet him! Tomato's adoption fee is $250.
