Meet Carrot! At 5 months old, this handsome orange tabby boy was originally the most shy of his litter, but he has really come into his own. He is a gentle, independent guy who formed a special bond with the large dog in his foster home! Carrot has been exposed to dogs, children, and new adults. Because of his gentle nature and initially quiet personality, any children in his forever home should be age 5 or older so they can respect his space while he gets comfortable. Carrot can be an only pet, provided someone is home for the majority of the day to help him continue building confidence. If household members are away during standard working or school hours, he must have a friendly, social pet in the home to keep him company--and he would especially love a dog friend! We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs! Pairing Carrot with a littermate provides a familiar companion to help him feel brave in new surroundings, offers vital mental enrichment, and gives him a constant partner for play and socialization. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet him! Carrot's adoption fee is $250.
