Meet Georgie

Georgie is a male orange kitten, approximately 34 months old, and he is such a sweet little guy! He can take a little bit of time to warm up to new people and unfamiliar situations, but once he realizes you are there to give him pets, his whole personality comes out. Once he gets comfortable, he is your typical sweet, loving orange cat who just wants attention and affection.

Georgie just needs a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment. He may not immediately run up to you and ask for attention, but once he realizes you are safe and those hands are there to give him pets, he really blossoms. He is absolutely a sweet and loving kitten underneath that initial hesitation.

He would do great with dogs or other cats, and I think having another friendly animal around could be a great fit for him. He may do best in a home with older children who understand that he needs a little time to warm up and can give him space while he gets comfortable.

Georgie has already had a great start on his medical care. He has:
FIV/FeLV tested
Received his FVRCP vaccines
Been microchipped
Been dewormed
Had a fecal check
Received Revolution Plus for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

He is not neutered yet, but he has a neuter appointment scheduled with TCAP for October 5th. His adopter will be expected to take him to that appointment, or to another neuter appointment we have available around that time.

There is a $180 adoption fee due at adoption, and an adoption contract will be signed prior to adoption to help ensure Georgie gets the safe and loving future he deserves.

Georgie really just needs someone who is willing to give him a little time, a little patience, and a whole lot of love. Once he knows he is safe and you are there to love on him, he is exactly what you would expect from a sweet orange kitty.
