Jessie has already become a favorite among our volunteers because she keeps us smiling every day. This sweet tuxedo girl clearly wants to be loved—she'll peek at us with those hopeful eyes, inching just close enough to invite a gentle pet, only to playfully retreat just beyond our fingertips. It's almost like she's flirting, and it's absolutely adorable.
Jessie is also starting to show her playful side, though she's careful not to get in the way of the other cats. She's still building her confidence after everything she's been through, but with each passing day, we see a little more of the affectionate, fun-loving cat she's meant to be. We have no doubt that once Jessie realizes she's truly safe, she'll blossom into an incredibly loving companion who will happily soak up all the attention her forever family has to give.
Our "Toy Story" crew is part of a large group of cats rescued from a local hoarding situation where they endured neglect, hunger, and lack of basic care. Many arrived underweight, with dirty coats, untreated medical issues, and little energy after simply trying to survive.
Some of our Toy Story characters are still recovering, resting, and building back their strength before they'll be ready for adoption. Others are already beginning to show their playful personalities as they discover full bellies, soft beds, and the simple joy of feeling safe.
Their names, inspired by the beloved characters from Toy Story, couldn't be more fitting. Just like the movie, these cats are learning that they are cherished, that they belong, and that the best adventures are still ahead of them.
All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated.
