Meet Matteo!

Matteo is a handsome buff orange boy, estimated to be around 5 years old, with a story written right into his adorable, crinkled ears. Those ears hint at a tough life outdoors—and they’ve left him a bit hard of hearing—but they only add to his unique charm.

These days, Matteo is ready to leave the hard life behind and settle into something much softer. His dream? A cozy spot to curl up, plenty of gentle pets, and a human who understands that he’ll happily “chat” with you when he wants attention or mealtime to come a little faster.

Matteo is affectionate, laid-back, and truly just wants to feel safe and loved. He does well with kids who have prior kitty experience and know how to respect his space. Because he’s currently crated, we’re not yet sure how he feels about other cats—but with proper introductions, he may adjust just fine.

His rescue story is just as special as he is. Matteo was found outside a local hair salon, where kind staff—who had adopted from us before—noticed he was clearly asking for help. Thanks to them, this sweet boy is now on his way to a better life.
