Louise - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

What my friends at ACC say about me:
Louise is at the front of the kennel, body and eyes relaxed with his tail held high as the assessor approaches. When the kennel door is opened, he softly head bunts the assessor's hand, allowing and leaning into all petting. He does crane his neck to look at the kennels near him when he hears sounds but is easily refocused with petting and attention. He calmly walks out of the kennel and is easily picked up, remaining calm when held. When he is placed back into his kennel, Louise remains at the front and continues to allow and lean into all further petting and attention.

Louise enjoys attention and petting and has warmed up to staff in the shelter but has displayed some challenging behaviors previously in a home environment. He may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to his behavioral history, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.
