Drama just needed someone to give her a chance.

When I first rescued her, she was scared, overwhelmed, and convinced she had to protect herself. Living in a busy rescue home with lots of other cats was simply too much for her.

Now that she's in a quiet foster home where she's the only cat, she's showing us who she really is. She's accepting pets, rubbing against her foster for attention, and proving she's a sweet, affectionate girl who simply needed time to decompress and feel safe.

Unfortunately, her foster home is only temporary, and we desperately want to avoid moving her back into a multi-cat environment where she could lose the incredible progress she's made.

Drama is looking for an experienced adopter—or a foster—who can offer her a calm home with no other cats. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters a tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full.
