Meet Comet, a handsome brown tabby with white who is about 5 months old. Comet is a sweet, playful young boy who is still learning that people can be pretty great!

Comet is shy with people and will need a patient adopter who is willing to let him settle in and build trust at his own pace. He isn't a big fan of being picked up, but he does accept pets and is gradually getting braver and more comfortable with attention. And if you really want to win him over, bring out the Churu treats! Comet will do just about anything for one.

Comet enjoys the company of other cats and would love to be adopted with his sibling, Dawn. They can also be adopted separately, but Comet will need another friendly cat or kitten companion in his new home. Having a feline friend gives him companionship, someone to play with, and extra confidence as he continues coming out of his shell.
Comet may not be the kitten who immediately jumps into your arms—and that's okay. He needs someone who will appreciate him for who he is and give him the time and patience he needs to feel safe. Watching a shy kitty learn to trust can be incredibly rewarding.

All Bronx Tails cats are or will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
