Meet Jupiter and Saturn! While not true siblings, both of these sweet boys were rescued off the streets of New Orleans on the same day, and once placed together they formed a strong bond as they learned to navigate their new lives. Saturn and Jupiter each have their own unique rescue story, with fate stepping in at exactly the right moment to bring them together.
Jupiter was one of 3 kittens rescued from an outside colony with over 30 cats. Born to a momma cat who was little more than a kitten herself, they were all malnourished, dirty, sick, and covered in fleas. A little TLC and a round of antibiotics turned these kittens around and they were feeling much better! Jupiter's other two siblings were adopted out, leaving Jupiter all alone. Lucky for him, he would soon meet his new best friend Saturn who was also all alone!
Jupiter is a luxurious medium to long haired gray marbled tabby.
He is outgoing and friendly, loves to play, and run all around chasing his buddy Saturn. He also loves a good cuddle when playtime is finally over.
Saturn was rescued out of a drain pipe in a yard occupied by a dog. The dogs owner noticed her dog sniffing around the pipe and when she got closer she could see a tiny gray kitten hiding inside, all alone. We were able to lure him out and into a trap by playing momma cat meowing sounds on our phone. Saturn didn't like being alone, so we knew as soon as his quarantine period was over he would get to meet some of the other kittens. And as it turns out, it was just when Jupiter needed him the most!
Saturn has a stunning solid gray coat, reminiscent of Russian Blue or Nebulong heritage. He also has a very unique marble tabby undercoat. When the light hits him just right you can see his fabulous swirl patterning.
Like his buddy Jupiter, he loves to play non-stop, running around the house full speed ahead! He also loves to climb up high and loves looking down at things and pouncing on them from above! He is a little more shy, but he is learning quickly how much fun people can be and is becoming a snuggle bunny!
Jupiter and Saturn have not been around dogs or kids, and given that Saturn is a little shy, they would probably do better in a home without them.
Jupiter and Saturn are neutered, vaccinated, triple tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
