Shortbread - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in New Orleans, Louisiana

Shortbread was rescued from a car engine where she was hiding all by herself, terrified and too afraid to come out. But her hunger won out over her fear, and we were finally able to trap her. Unfortunately, there was no momma anywhere around, so we took her into our foster/adoption program and are now looking for the perfect Forever Home for her

She's the cutest little pale orange striped tabby with bunny soft fur. And if you know your cat genetics, you know that 80% of orange tabbies are male, making this little girl pretty special. After a couple of days with people, she did a complete turnaround and wants to be near people all the time now. She loves to play, snuggle, and she will burst into purrs the moment you touch her.

She has been around adult cats and does well with them. She has not been around dogs or kids, but is young enough she should adapt easily.

She has been spayed, vaccinated, combo tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
