Ziggy & Breena - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New Britain, Connecticut

Ziggy (white) & Breena (tuxedo), Two longtime bonded shelter residents who are finally ready for a home.

Ziggy, about 8, has done a complete 180 since he's arrived. Once distant and uninterested in people, he’s now a total lovebug who will hop down just to headbutt anything in sight. He adores Breena and have been bonded for years, often sleeping together. A much needed grooming, and lots of volunteer love helped bring out Ziggy’s softer side.

Breena, around 5, is permanently kitten sized and 100% monkey. She loves to play, jump, and climb. She’s still shy and timid, but lately she’s been allowing more volunteers to give her pets and Ziggy has been showing her what trust looks like.

They may need some time to settle into a new home, but they don’t need to be chased for affection. They need someone patient enough to let them come to you.

Ziggy seems happy with friendly cats, while Breena only wants to be around Ziggy. We truly believe Ziggy is teaching Breena that it’s okay to trust.
