The amazing itsy Bitsy spider... .
This incredible little lady has spent years at the shelter, if not most of her life. For a long time, Bitsy was defensive, scared, and seemingly wanted absolutely nothing to do with humans or other cats. We worried she might never get the chance to know what a home could feel like.
But then, slowly, something amazing happened.
Brave volunteers started spending time with her. They combed her gorgeous mane (silky soft), offered her gentle hands, and occasionally accepted a swipe or two along the way. It took a very long time, but Bitsy eventually realized that hands aren't so scary after all.
Finger sniffs became pets. Pets became scratches. And walking into her room became an opportunity to greet her favorite people.
Now? We can hardly believe the transformation.
Bitsy swirls around your legs, asks for attention, follows you from room to room, and genuinely seems to enjoy being with her humans. She can startle people because she so quick, but she just wants to hurry to you. She may still set a boundary here and there because she's a cat, after all, but the defensive girl we once knew has blossomed into an incredibly loving companion.
At this time, we believe Bitsy would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the love for herself.
If you're looking for a true companion who wants to be by your side day and night, Bitsy may be your girl. She has brought so much joy into our lives, and we would love nothing more than to see her bring that same joy into yours.
Come meet Bitsy!
