Hi, I'm Nessie! I'm a sweet girl who has made a lot of progress since coming into foster care. When I first arrived, I was very shy and skittish, but I've been learning that people can be pretty wonderful. These days, I enjoy being petted and will even let my foster family hold me for short periods, though I'm still deciding how I feel about being carried around. I sometimes curl up next to my people or sleep on the bed, and with a little time and patience, I think I could become a great lap kitty.
Like any kitten, I have bursts of energy that can strike at any moment! I love chasing toys, playing with cat and dog toys, climbing cat condos, and wrestling with my siblings. One of my favorite things is snuggling with my foster family's female cat-I love spending time curled up beside her. I also have a funny little habit of making goofy sounds and even growling sometimes while I eat, which always gives everyone a laugh.
I'm wonderful with my foster family's son, the other cats, and the dogs in the home. While I'm comfortable with the people and animals I know, I can still be quite shy when meeting new people. I prefer to take introductions at my own pace, but once I feel safe, my curious and gentle personality starts to shine through. I'm also a litter box superstar and use every litter box in the house like a champ.
