DESCRIPTION
Meet Captain Crumbs, though he happily answers to just Crumbs! This sweet 3-year-old dachshund-terrier mix is the perfect size for tagging along on errands and everyday adventures. He's a silly, gentle-hearted boy with a curious spirit and a nice medium energy level. Whether you're inside or out in the yard, Crumbs loves being your sidekick and keeping you company. Exploring the outdoors and going for walks are some of his favorite things.
Crumbs gets along well with the small dogs in his foster home but would also be perfectly happy as your one and only. When it's time to relax, he's all about cozying up, either curled next to you, on your lap, or stretched out on a soft blanket on the couch.
He crates easily, sleeps quietly through the night, and keeps his space clean. He is potty trained. Because of his curiosity, he's crated when left alone; he may bark at first but settles down. Due to that initial barking, he's not the best fit for apartment living.
Crumbs isn't overly vocal but will join in with other dogs or alert you to visitors or activity outside. He's still settling into his foster home, but he's already shown that he's a smart boy who responds well to gentle guidance. He'll thrive in a home that continues to provide structure, patience, and outlets for his inquisitive nature.
If you're looking for a sweet, curious, silly sidekick then look no further: Crumbs is your man!
