Meet Weevil, a handsome orange tabby domestic shorthair kitten with the ultimate cuddle-bug personality! If you are looking for an affectionate companion, this sweet boy is ready to steal your heart. Weevil believes any attention is good attention, and his purr motor starts up the second you say hello. After a hearty play session, he’s even known to drift off to sleep right with his face resting in his dry food bowl!
We're thinking his adorable, smushed face is from a bit of mixed breed heritage—maybe a Persian or Exotic Shorthair somewhere in the family tree!
This little kitten is a bundle of playful energy and needs a partner-in-crime! To make sure they stay happy and thoroughly entertained, OARS only adopts kittens out in pairs, or into homes that already have a resident kitten or young cat to play with. Take a look at their littermates Grub and Aphid too.
All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.
HOW TO ADOPT
*Complete an adoption application on our website

*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.
We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.
To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity! As a 100% donation-supported rescue, every dollar goes straight toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for the animals in our hands.
Get involved and be part of the difference for these pets.
