CONNOR looks a bit "scruffy". No one knows his story, but he showed up one day in a local's yard and didn't leave. As he is friendly, it would seem that although he may have gotten into a tough situation, he once knew loving hands. He was fine with the rescuer's dog. But it is unknown how he feels about other cats and children. Given his outgoing personality, he probably would be fine with a non-aggressive dog or cat sibling, and with children old enough to know about gentle touch and no squeezing the kitty!
CONNER's unkepted look is partically due to his allergies to fleas and a possible dust up with a neighborhood bully. But the has been treated for the fleas, the scabs will heal, the fur will grow back, eventually. And even if the scar doesn't fade, it just makes him look mysterious and rougish. Conner is a sweet guy who only wants to live in a safe place, be fed, and loved. And CONNER is not shy when asking for attention! He can be quite vocal!😸 Wouldn't you like to cozy up and let him tell you all of his stories about life on the street, as you cuddle on the couch?
