Sunshine is a gorgeous 2-year-old cat with mesmerizing eyes and a calm, gentle nature. She is ready to fill a loving home with quiet companionship. Could she be your future lap cat?

Sunshine may be quiet, but she knows how to ask for love. She is an expert at making air biscuits and especially enjoys pets and head scratches. She will even nuzzle into your hand to help you find just the right spot—although she would prefer that you skip the tummy rubs.

She loves watching birds and has an adorable little chirp instead of a traditional meow. If Sunshine feels she is not getting enough attention, she may gently gnaw on your hand as a playful reminder that she is still waiting for affection.

Relaxed, loving, and full of gentle charm, Sunshine has all the makings of a wonderful lap cat. If you are looking for a sweet companion who will brighten your days with soft chirps, affectionate nuzzles, and plenty of air biscuits, come meet Sunshine and give her the forever home she deserves.

Sunshine is FIV positive and will need to the be only cat in a home, live with other FIV positive cats, or possibly live with other non-aggressive and friendly cats.

Want to help her feel extra pampered while she waits? Click the Sponsor button on her profile! Your one-time gift helps cover food, litter, medical care, and all the little extras that make shelter life cozier. Thank you for helping save lives!

All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines.
