Meet Winnie!
Winnie is a sweet little female cat who was born in June 2025 and came into rescue as a feral kitten. She has made amazing progress in foster care, but she is still an extremely shy girl who will need a patient adopter and a quiet, calm home where she can continue to build her confidence.
One of the most important things for Winnie is having another friendly cat in the home. She absolutely loves the company of other cats and takes comfort and confidence from her feline friends. In her foster home, she gets along wonderfully with the resident cats and can often be found cuddling with one of them—or snuggled up with her sister, Roo.
Winnie is also good with the resident dogs in her foster home, although she wouldn't say they're her favorite roommates. She does best when she has plenty of space to retreat and let her feline friends show her that everything is okay.
While Winnie isn't a lap cat, she has her own way of letting you know when she's ready for attention. She'll happily accept pets when she decides the time is right—especially around mealtime! She is also quite the conversationalist, using adorable, soft little meows when she's hungry or when she's looking for one of her favorite cats in the house. And if you're looking for a kitty with a very specific love language, Winnie has some special loves: freeze-dried minnows and Churu’s. Keep those treats coming and you'll be well on your way to becoming her best friend.
When she's not supervising the household, Winnie enjoys watching birds through the window or tuning into her favorite channel: Cat TV. She's also an excellent fly catcher, so she'll happily take care of any unwanted flying visitors!
Winnie will need an adopter who understands that shy cats don't always show their love right away. She may never be the type of cat who immediately jumps into your lap, but with patience, consistency, feline companionship, and lots of treats, she'll continue to blossom at her own pace. If you're looking for a gentle, quirky little girl who will reward your patience with soft meows, cozy cat cuddles, and plenty of personality, Winnie may be your girl.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.
All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!
