I have a very simple philosophy: life is short, humans are wonderful, and there is absolutely no reason to waste a single second being shy about any of it.

My name is Misty, and I know exactly what I want. I want you. Your hands, your lap, your undivided attention — I'm not picky about the order. I was found abandoned with my brother back in December, which was honestly a rough start, but I didn't let it shake my fundamental outlook on people. If anything, I just became more committed to finding mine.

Every volunteer who has walked through the shelter doors since then has received the full Misty experience: an immediate greeting, direct eye contact, and a very clear message that a few moments of petting would be deeply appreciated. I'm not subtle. I'm also not sorry.

The other cats here? We get along just fine. But between you and me, they're not really the ones I'm focused on. I have my eyes on a much bigger prize — a person. Maybe a whole family of people. Someone who comes home at the end of the day and thinks, I can't wait to see my cat. Someone who wants to be wanted as much as I want to be theirs.

I'm easy. Pick me up. Pet me. That's genuinely all I need.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!
