Miwa is a beautiful 2-year-old, 58-pound Shepherd mix who is equal parts adventure buddy and professional cuddler! ❤️ She loves people, warms up quickly, and absolutely LOVES to snuggle. Her favorite place is curled up next to you with her head on your chest.

When she's not cuddling, Miwa enjoys bones, squeaky toys, walks, and patrolling the yard. She is especially dedicated to squirrel and bird surveillance--she can stare at a tree for hours waiting for one to appear!

Miwa is crate trained and does great in her crate. She is very treat motivated, eager to please, and working on her sit and shake. She has good manners overall, but she can get excited and pull on walks, so a harness would be a good choice. She may also be a potential door darter, so her family will need to be careful around open doors and gates. She does bark when she's outside.

Miwa is an active girl who would love a home with a fenced yard and daily walks. She's up for just about anything!

She does well with male dogs but can become protective around female dogs, so she would likely do best as an only dog or with a compatible male dog. She has a very strong prey drive and should not live with cats or other small animals.

Miwa is wonderful with people and has been great with kids, although her size and enthusiasm mean she could accidentally knock over very small children. Older or dog-savvy kids would be the best fit.
