Theodore is a 1-year-old neutered male DSH (buff) who is basically the definition of a cuddly lover boy!

This sweet, easygoing guy has done well with other cats, dogs, and kids. He loves people, knows his name, and will happily come running when called—especially if treats are involved!

Theodore is a laid-back boy who enjoys lounging around, snacking, and soaking up affection, but don't let his lazy side fool you—he also loves to play!

He has experience as both an indoor and outdoor cat and will use his litterbox. He had some spraying behavior before being neutered, so we're hopeful that behavior will decrease with time now that he's fixed.

One thing Theodore isn't a fan of? Car rides. But once he's home, he's ready to be your best friend and cuddle buddy.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
