Macey is a sweet domestic shorthair (DSH) black kitten looking for a loving forever home! She’s a spayed little girl with all the playful, curious, and cuddly charm you’d expect from a kitten.

Because Macey is still young and developing important social skills, she cannot be adopted as a single kitten. She needs to have another friendly, playful cat already in the home or be adopted with another kitten. Having a feline friend will help keep her happy, well-socialized, and entertained while preventing the challenges associated with single kitten syndrome.

If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a big personality—and you have a kitty friend ready to welcome her—Macey may be the perfect addition to your family!

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
