Geico - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Middletown, Rhode Island

Meet Geico!

Geico is a sweet kitten who is still learning that people can be wonderful friends! He started out a little unsure of new people, but he has made great strides with socialization both at the shelter and in foster care.

Geico will need a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. Starting him out in a single, quiet room will help him feel safe as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Treats and Churu are great ways to make friends, and going at his pace will help him build confidence.

Geico would do best with an adopter who has experience with shy kittens. He would also benefit from going home with a sibling or another confident, friendly cat who can help show him the ropes. With patience, consistency, and plenty of tasty treats, Geico has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion!

If you are interested in Geico, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.
