Meet Chili Pepper
Chili Pepper is a special guy looking for a special home! This energetic, intelligent cat has a big personality and thrives when he has plenty of enrichment, interaction, and opportunities to keep his busy mind and body engaged.

Chili has been making great progress in his care here. He is very comfortable going outdoors on leash and has even learned to let his people know when he wants to head outside. He has also been doing well in his cubby space and responds wonderfully to treats as redirection.

One of Chili's favorite things is having animal friends! He has done very well with both cats and dogs, and we believe he would benefit from having an appropriate, playful companion in his forever home. A home where Chili can enjoy both indoor and outdoor life may also be a great fit for his active lifestyle and need for stimulation.

Because Chili has some unique needs, he is a special adoption through our Behavior Department to help ensure the best possible match. We are looking for an experienced adopter who can provide the patience, consistency, enrichment, and positive interaction Chili needs to thrive. His ideal home will be an adult-only household with a resident playful cat or dog, and a lifestyle that allows for safe indoor/outdoor access. Most importantly, Chili needs someone who is comfortable learning his individual personality, working with his needs, and helping set him up for success.

Chili may need a little extra thought when it comes to finding his perfect match, but the right home could give this fun-loving, active guy the fulfilling and enriched life he deserves.
