Smudge McKenzie (Stormy kitten) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Merrifield, Virginia

Meet Smudge!

Date of Birth: April 27, 2026
Gender: Female

Smudge is an adorable gray-and-white kitten with the sweetest face, thanks to her charming white facial markings. She came to 4 Paws with her mom, brother, and sister after a friend of one of our rescuers in Maryland could no longer afford to care for the little family.

This adventurous little girl loves to be up high! Whether she's climbing a cat tree or making daring leaps from one perch to another, Smudge is happiest when she can explore the world from above. She sees every cat tree as an exciting playground and is always ready for her next adventure.

When she's not perfecting her climbing skills, Smudge loves wrestling and racing around with her siblings. Her favorite toy is an interactive cat ball track, which keeps her entertained for hours. Despite her playful energy, she's also a total sweetheart who enjoys spending quiet time with people and happily soaks up pets and affection.

Like any healthy kitten, Smudge is active, curious, and full of fun. Although she hasn't been around adult cats yet, we expect she would do well with a friendly, cat-savvy feline after a proper introduction. Smudge would love to be adopted with one of her siblings Smoke or Silver but can also go to a home with another kitten or active young cat.

Smudge has received her age-appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Smudge will be spayed before joining her new home.
