Smitty Manassas - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Merrifield, Virginia

Looking for your Prince Charming? Meet Smitty! All he wants is to look adoringly into your eyes and fall deeply in love with you. Every scritch is a good scritch to worship his royal highness, especially cheek rubs and head boops. His dapper black tuxedo coat is dotted with tiny white hairs like stars in the night sky. He's a long, tall boy, with white tippy toes that love to make biscuits and hold your hand when you're gazing lovingly at each other. Your lap is his throne and he will lay himself across you when it's time for a post-meal nap. He is a fantastic hunter, and loves to play with dancers and roll around with his catnip pickle, giving them the most ferocious head shakes when captured.

Around other cats, Smitty's a confident guy who is clearly able to communicate his personal boundaries and give orders to keep his kingdom running smoothly. Around new humans, he can be cautious until he can judge how well you are willing to worship his royal person. Smitty would do best in a house with another chill cat who is willing to be his loyal subject, specifically a calmer, less dominant cat or two. He will need an experienced cat parent to manage the introductions slowly and with care. He plays very well with other cats he's familiar with, shares food and toys with no aggression, and is downright goofy with zoomies and curiosity when he's well settled in his space. He'd also do wonderfully in a home where he can soak up all the one-on-one attention he can get from being an only cat. His rumbly purr, tip-tapping happy toes and tail shivering excitement will show you just how much your love means to him.

Smitty's estimated birthdate is July 2020, and he is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV & FeLV, and is microchipped. If you're ready to crown Smitty your liege lord of loving head butts, apply to adopt him online at https://fourpaws.org/.
