Pedro Pawscal is a smooth, smoky grey cat with a plush coat, a soft, thoughtful face, and yellow-green eyes that watch you with calm attention. He has a name with a twinkle in it, and a look that makes you want to sit down beside him and stay awhile.

Pedro arrived at Cobb Animal Services on November 1, 2026. At approximately 3 years and 8 months old and 8.125 pounds, he is a grown-up guy in the prime of his life, with years of companionship ahead of him. There are no guessing games about who he’ll become, and the person who adopts him can start building a life together right away.

A cat like Pedro deserves more than a steel kennel and a folded towel. He deserves a favorite spot on the couch, a window to watch the world from, and a person who is glad to see him every single day. Adult cats are so often overlooked in a shelter, and the ones who wait the longest often have the most love to give.

Pedro is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, so he is ready to go home. He is ready for a name on a food bowl and a place to call his own. Come meet Pedro in kennel 629.
