DARWIN (see also ROOT BEER) - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Darwin - 23540 - Kennel 624 - Arrived October 20, 2026 - Domestic Short Hair mix - orange tabby and white - male - 4 years old - 10.75 lbs - Will be neutered prior to adoption - Up to date on vaccines - FIV/FeLV negative

Darwin is a handsome orange tabby with soft creamy stripes, white accents, a rosy pink nose, and hazel-green eyes that look right at you. He has the warm, golden coloring of a sunny afternoon, and he is every bit as lovely in person as he is in his photo.

Darwin arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 20, 2026. At 4 years old and 10.75 pounds, he is a sturdy, grown-up guy with plenty of good years ahead of him. He is house trained and good with children, which means he is ready to slip into family life from the very first day.

Imagine coming home to a big orange cat waiting by the door, then settling beside you on the couch as the evening winds down. That is the kind of life Darwin is hoping for, and it’s the kind of life he deserves. A shelter kennel is only a waiting place, and he has waited long enough.

Darwin is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and will be neutered before he goes home. He shares kennel 624 with Root Beer, and the two of them would make a wonderful pair, though Darwin would bring joy to any loving home on his own. Come meet Darwin in kennel 624.
