Neptune is a ten-week-old calico Domestic Shorthair kitten with a beautiful patchwork of white, grey tabby, and warm orange - a coat that looks like it was painted just for her. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 21st alongside her five siblings, each named after a planet and each as beautiful and unique as the next. Neptune is the colorful one of the litter, her calico coat making her instantly distinctive among even this extraordinary group.

Neptune is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and cat friendly - having grown up surrounded by five siblings she has never known a day without feline companionship. No two calico cats are ever marked the same way, which makes Neptune genuinely one of a kind. At ten weeks old she is at the most magical stage of kittenhood - curious, playful, and just beginning to understand that the world is full of wonderful things.

Her brothers Mercury, Mars, and Saturn and her sisters Venus and Jupiter are right there beside her in Kennel #618, and the six of them together are something truly extraordinary to witness. A home with room for Neptune and one or more of her siblings would be giving each of them a piece of the only family they have ever known - but whatever comes next, Neptune deserves a home as colorful and wonderful as she is.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
