Petal is a beautiful brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix with tall, alert ears, bright eyes, and a big, happy smile that makes her instantly endearing. At 1 year old, this sweet girl still has a little filling out to do before reaching her estimated adult weight of 28 to 32 pounds.

Petal is very sweet and already knows how to sit when asked, showing off a great foundation of training. She also does well on a leash, making her a pleasant, well-mannered companion for walks and outings.

Petal shares her kennel with Rosie, her mother, and the two have remained together through their time at the shelter. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both girls home together, so that close bond between mother and daughter can continue.

Petal is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative, and she will be spayed prior to adoption, so she is fully prepared to settle into a new home without delay. She is waiting in Kennel #78 with that beautiful brindle coat and playful spirit, ready for the home and the family who will give her the loving future she deserves.
