Around 1 year old, James' past is a mystery, as he was found as a stray, but one thing we do know is that he's a gentle soul with so much love to give. James is friendly but can be a little shy when new people come around, often choosing to hang back and quietly observe from the corner. But once James is comfortable with you, his sweet, affectionate side shines through. It doesn't take long before he's coming over to say hello, rubbing against your legs, and enjoying slow, gentle pets. Laid-back and mellow, James doesn't demand attention, but every moment with him feels special.

James is ready to trade his quiet shelter corners for a loving home of his own. He'll be happiest and really come out of his shell in a relaxed, adult-only home. James gets along well with his shelter mates and would likely do well sharing his space with a feline friend in his new home. He is healthy and well-mannered, with excellent litter box habits.
