Recess is ready for a fresh start - and a forever home to finally call her own. Estimated to be around 1 year old, this beautiful calico came to us after she and her kittens were trapped by animal control at a local daycare. She's spent the last several weeks safely raising her babies, and now it's finally her turn to be cared for and loved.

Recess is not only stunning, but incredibly sweet as well. While she can be a little unsure at first, she's been steadily building her confidence in foster care and continues to show more of her affectionate, friendly personality each day. Watching her learn to relax and trust has been incredibly rewarding.

She did struggle some with the resident cats in her foster home, so any introductions to other cats should be done slowly and thoughtfully to help set everyone up for success. With patience and proper introductions, we believe she has the potential to continue growing in confidence and comfort.

After spending so much of her young life surviving and raising babies, Recess deserves a home where she can finally just be a cat - loved, safe, and spoiled the way she should have been all along.
