Barry is a handsome Shih Tzu who is just beginning his new chapter after being released from a puppy mill. While the world is still a big and unfamiliar place, this sweet little guy is taking it all in one cautious step at a time.

Right now, Barry is on the shy side and appreciates a patient, understanding approach. As he settles in, though, his curiosity has started to shine through. You'll often find him quietly observing his surroundings, building the confidence to explore and discover all the wonderful things life has to offer.

Barry is looking for a calm, loving home that will allow him to adjust at his own pace. His future family should be prepared to celebrate the little victories-whether it's taking a treat from your hand, venturing out to explore, or learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Watching Barry grow into the dog he was always meant to be will be an incredibly rewarding journey.
