Mabel - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Mabel is a sweet 3-4 month old kitten looking for her forever home. Mabel came up from the south with severe eye damage - one eye was removed, while the other has mild scarring of the corena that causes mild vision reduction, but she is not blind. Despite all of this, Mabel acts like any other kitten you would meet! She loves to chase toys around the room, purrs at the very sound or with of people, and loves attention. She will need a day or two to adjust to any new environments with her reduced vision, but she adapts very quickly, and knows exactly how to get to her food, litterbox, and into your lap!
New pet friends she is initially needs to meet slowly to get to know them, but she could do well in either a home by herself, or a home with other pets - she may actually love a kitten friend to wrestle with!

Spay or Neuter
Rabies and distemper up to date (as age appropriate-kitten adopters may need to provide their adopted pets with rabies vaccine and distemper boosters if adopted before 14 weeks)
FeLV/FIV test (FeLV only for kittens under six months)
Microchip

Our adult cat adoption fee is $75. It is $125 for two adults. Our kitten adoption fee (under 5 mo) is $175. If two kittens are adopted at the same time, our adoption fee is $300 for the pair. If an adult cat is adopted with a kitten, our adoption fee is $225.
