Birdie is a 6-7 year old, 60 (ish) pound (not yet weighed properly) sweetheart with one blue eye, one brown eye (heterochromia!), and an even bigger heart. She loves nothing more than being with her people, whether she's playing with her dog friends or curled up on the couch as your favorite potato-shaped cuddle buddy.
She gets along well with friendly adult dogs and has been respectful of my geriatric cats, but she's a little too interested in chickens, so she'd do best in a home without poultry. Birdie may softly whine when left alone at first, but she settles down and does well with a consistent routine.
She's carrying a few extra pounds and would benefit from regular walks, but she's happiest simply spending time with the people she loves. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with striking mismatched eyes and plenty of love to give, Birdie is ready to meet you and your couch.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 9mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $375. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.
