Frieren - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lincoln, Nebraska

Some kittens wear their past like a badge of honor, and Frieren is one of them.

She arrived from a Fairbury TNR project at only two weeks old, battling an eye infection so severe that we weren't sure she would keep either eye. While both eyes have some permanent scarring, she can still see from them and doesn't let them stop her from enjoying life. You may notice her vision isn't quite perfect, but she has adapted beautifully.

Much like her namesake, Frieren quietly takes everything in before diving into the fun. She's a true "cat's cat" who absolutely loves wrestling, chasing, and playing with her siblings. Once playtime winds down, she's just as happy curling up beside her foster mom for affection and quiet companionship.

Frieren is playful, resilient, and loving. She is a kitten whose difficult beginning only makes her happy ending even sweeter.
Because she was raised in foster care since she was just two weeks old, we think Frieren will adjust well to homes with other cats, cat friendly dogs, or kids with proper introductions. Like any kitten, she will appreciate a little patience while settling into her new home, but she ready to become someone's new family member.
Frieren is spayed, microchipped, current on her age appropriate FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, on flea and tick prevention, and has excellent litter box manners. If you'd like meet this little calico baby apply at the link below!
