Mongoose—better known as Goose—is a spirited, playful boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for adventure. This energetic kitty thrives in an active home where he can run, jump, and explore to his heart’s content. High perches, cat trees, and window views are his dream setup—especially if there are birds to watch.

Goose would do best in a home with another playful cat who can keep up with his energy and be his partner in crime. He absolutely loves toys and has a natural hunter instinct, so interactive playtime is a must to keep him happy and engaged.

While Goose enjoys affection, he prefers cuddles on his terms—making those sweet moments all the more special when he chooses you. He would do well with older kids who understand and respect his independent streak.

Important note: Goose is quick and curious—he’s an expert at slipping out front doors, so extra care with entryways is a must!

The adoption fee is $175. ($50.00 reduction in adoption fee for a pair). ADOPTION FEE: The adoption donation includes spay or neuter, microchip, age appropriate shots, deworming, flea preventative and a negative FIV/Luekemia test. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place and references will be checked. We will then arrange for you to meet the cat or kitten. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
