Meet Isla!

Isla is a beautiful little girl who is still learning that people can be kind. She came into rescue very unsure of human interaction, so she's looking for a patient adopter who will let her move at her own pace without expecting overnight progress. Every day she grows a little braver, and it's been wonderful watching her slowly become more comfortable with the people she trusts.

Isla absolutely loves other cats and gains a great deal of confidence from having feline friends around. She would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly resident cat or could be adopted with one of her kitten friends through our Best Friend Bonus, giving her a built-in buddy to help show her the ropes. While she hasn't spent much time around dogs, she could likely adjust to a calm, cat-savvy dog with slow introductions and plenty of patience.

Because she's still building her confidence, Isla is looking for a quiet home with adults or respectful teenagers only. Young children would simply be too overwhelming for her. If you're willing to let Isla blossom on her own timeline, you'll have the privilege of watching a shy kitten slowly discover that people can be trusted-and there's nothing more rewarding than earning the love of a kitten who's worked so hard to find her confidence.

Isla will be ready to go home after 6/29.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and is microchipped.
