Meet Silas!

Hi, I'm Silas, and I have a confession to make: I may have judged humans a little too quickly.

When I first arrived, I wasn't exactly impressed with the whole "people" situation. I hissed. I swatted. I made it very clear that personal space was NOT a suggestion. I am semi-feral, after all, and I had some serious trust issues to work through.

But then something strange happened... I discovered pets. Turns out, those aren't so bad. In fact, I'm beginning to think they might be kind of nice. I'm only 5 months old, so I'm still learning that people can be trusted, and I'm making progress every day.

I'm also pretty easy on the eyes, if I do say so myself. I'm a gorgeous longhaired grey tabby with enough fluff to make sure everyone notices me.

Because I'm still figuring out this whole human friendship thing, I'd do best in a patient, understanding home without small children. I need someone who will let me take things at my own pace and give me the time I need to become the confident kitty I know I can be.

If you're willing to let me write the next chapter of my story, I might just surprise you. And who knows? Maybe someday I'll even admit that humans are pretty great. Don't push your luck, though.

I'm neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and flea prevention. My adoption fee is $85.

As with all New Leash cats, I must be strictly indoor and may not be declawed.
