Patsy's story is one of resilience and second chances
She was discovered by a kind neighbor who had previously worked with us to TNR community cats. Patsy had been abandoned... and heartbreakingly, she is declawed, leaving her especially vulnerable outdoors.
Then things took an even scarier turn - she was hit by a truck
Miraculously, Patsy rolled away and walked it off, showing just how tough she is. Thanks to that Good Samaritan, she was brought to safety and is now ready for her forever home.
About Patsy:
Chatty, sweet, and full of personality
Loves pets and attention
Playful and curious
Has the funniest sleeping positions - often upside down and dangling off her shelf like a little goofball
Patsy can sometimes get a little overstimulated and may give gentle "love nibbles." This is common in declawed cats, as they rely more on their mouths to communicate. She'll do best with someone who understands cat body language and can respect her cues which means not a good fit for a home with small children. Her ideal family will be with a Cat-savvy adopter who appreciates a quirky, expressive companion. She tolerates but isn't into playing or cuddling with other cats. She may prefer to be an only cat center of attention.
