Meet Paris

Sometimes the cats who need us most are the ones who have already known what it means to have a loving home.

Paris was adopted from Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions as a tiny kitten in **2012**, when she was just about four months old. Now, more than 14 years later, she finds herself looking for a new family.

Her owner's work as a long-haul truck driver means she is no longer able to be home enough to give Paris the care and companionship she deserves. And while saying goodbye after all these years is incredibly difficult, she wants to make sure she has a wonderful next chapter.

And Paris has a lot of good years left to enjoy.

She recently had a senior blood panel and is doing **remarkably well for her age**-healthy, spry and without any known issues. She uses her litter box perfectly and is ready to settle into a new routine.

Paris is a beautiful white girl with black spots, and she can be a little shy when she first meets someone. But give her time, patience and regular interaction, and you'll see her sweet personality emerge. Once she gets to know you, Paris becomes friendly, affectionate and loving.

She has lived happily with cats and small dogs, although she'd prefer not to have a dog who thinks she's a jungle gym. She's also been around young children, but she's not a fan of being picked up, so she'd do best with kids who understand that cats appreciate having their paws on the ground.

Her ideal home? Someone patient who will give her a little time to decompress and get comfortable. Starting her out in a smaller, quiet space where she can interact with her new person every day would be perfect. As trust grows, so will Paris-and underneath that initial shyness is a very sweet, loving companion just waiting to bloom.
