Sometimes life changes faster than anyone expects.

Sweet Gloria thought she had found her new beginning.

Recently adopted from a local shelter, this beautiful 4-year-old tabby mix was settling into her new life when everything changed. A change in her family's living situation meant she had to move to a different home, and then came another unexpected challenge-her new caregiver discovered he has a skin allergy to cats.

Heartbroken but wanting the very best for Gloria, they made the difficult decision to bring her to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions so she could find the loving home she truly deserves.

Now it's Gloria's turn... again.

This lovely girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but don't let that fool you. She's incredibly sweet and has plenty to say! Gloria is quite the conversationalist and will happily chat with you throughout the day. She loves treats, goes wild for catnip, and while toys aren't really her thing, she's perfectly content soaking up gentle pets and spending time with her favorite people.

She's not a fan of being picked up just yet, but she's still adjusting to all the changes she's experienced. Give her a little patience, and you'll discover a kind-hearted companion who simply wants to feel safe and loved.

From everything we've been told, Gloria has been friendly with everyone she's met, and we think she'll blossom in a home where she can settle in at her own pace.

After so much unexpected change, Gloria isn't asking for much.

Just a comfy place to nap, a full food bowl, kind friends... and someone who will love her for the wonderful cat she is.
