Meet Sundae

For about a year, Sundae survived outdoors, fending for herself and raising a family the best way she knew how.

No one came forward to claim her. No one got her spayed. Then one day she appeared with five tiny kittens in tow-Fudge, Caramel, Sprinkles, Marshmallow, and Meringue.

Thankfully, a kind person took the little family in, keeping them safe while trying to find homes. When an unexpected move out of state made that impossible, they reached out to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions.

And that's when Sundae's life finally began to change.

Today, her babies are growing up in foster care, and Sundae is discovering something she may never have had before: the chance to simply be a cat.

No more worrying about where to sleep.
No more protecting kittens outside.
No more surviving.

Now it's Sundae's turn.

And trust us-she's making the most of it.

Her foster describes her as "the nicest, friendliest, most easy-going cat I've ever met."

Sundae greets everyone who walks into the room. She loves people. She loves attention. She purrs almost nonstop. She enjoys rubbins, pets, and even chasing a pom-pom ball around the room. She's affectionate without being demanding and has the kind of personality that makes everyone fall in love with her.
