Meet Dapper!

This handsome tuxedo boy may have been living outside, but Dapper has made one thing very clear: he is absolutely ready for the good life.

Dapper was trapped from a friendly community cat colony that is being shut down. Once his rescuers got to know him, it quickly became obvious that this young guy was far too friendly to simply be left outside.

And Dapper is VERY ready to tell you what he thinks about that.

He loves attention. He loves pets. He loves toys. He LOVES canned food.

Actually, "love" might be an understatement.

Dapper will yell loudly to make sure you know when it's canned-food time. He's also a big fan of catnip and appears to have an impressive supply of energy, so an adopter who enjoys playtime will be right up his alley.

He's a muscular, strong little guy who doesn't bite or scratch, doesn't run away from people and is always interested in what's happening around him.

As for other cats, Dapper has seemed comfortable around some of them, but he has also been known to posture and chase one of the resident cats. He was recently neutered, so his new family will need to give introductions plenty of time and see how he does. For now, we think a thoughtful introduction and lots of enrichment will be important.
