Jepson - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Johnston, Rhode Island

Say hello to JEPSON! JEPSON is a dapper, handsome fellow with a classic brown and black tabby-striped coat. Accents of white adorn the center of his face, chin, chest and all four paws. JEPSON has the most beautiful, mesmerizing green eyes and an adorable bubblegum pink nose. Our vet staff estimates JEPSON to be approximately five years old.

JEPSON had been routinely wandering a local neighborhood when a concerned resident took notice and wanted to get him to safety. JEPSON was humanely trapped and brought to our cat center. Upon arrival, he had some minor scratches, scabs and abrasions which have all since healed up and resolved nicely. It was determined that JEPSON had already been neutered, so perhaps this kitty had once lived in a home at one point in his past. JEPSON was rather hesitant and slightly shutdown the first few weeks or so. However, with time, persistence, compassion and the consistent efforts of all our dedicated volunteers, JEPSON has begun to blossom and let his guard down. Our socialization/enrichment volunteers worked with JEPSON on a weekly basis, and we have seen so much progress from when he first came to our facility. JEPSON is a big softie at heart. JEPSON can be pet and he enjoys receiving his crunchy yummy cat treats. He adores his soft, plush bed too. JEPSON melts when you give him gentle scritches to his head and behind his ears. JEPSON is recently learning how to play with toys along with the help of his human friends, and it is a wonderful sight to behold. JEPSON is ready to leave his former street life in the past and is looking forward to finding his very own Forever Home with the purr-fect person or family that will give this guy the life filled with attention, affection, and all the love he deserves.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.
