Jim is an absolute delight and a menace all in one. He is what I imagine a middle child would be in the cat world - so incredibly cute and also entirely absurd. He's just...different. And we love that about him.

This is a safe space, right? I feel like this is where I can admit to you that Jim has a weird habit he will absolutely bring home with him...he likes feet. He adores feet. He is in love with feet. It doesn't matter age, size, shape or smell. If they are human feet he will lick them and play with them. I won't pretend to know his motivations, but I also won't shame him for his fascinations. I would just like his new family to know that their feet will become Jim's feet upon his adoption. He wants this included in his contract.

Jim greets you at the door ready to party no matter the time day or night - if you come into the same room as him, he is ready and waiting for every last bit of attention. He will follow you around. He will meow. He will playfully paw at you. He will make awkward eye contact with you. He will essentially never tire until you pick him up and pet him. You will then be rewarded with unending purrs, slow-closing blinks and paw biscuits (a fair trade, really). Jim is the whole package really - a little zany lunatic who also loves a cuddle session.

Jim is very social and friendly having grown up with littermates and being slowly introduced to other cats and small dogs. He LOVES toys and is also super food and treat motivated. He has not yet found a food he doesn't love (and his growing booty is proof).

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
